The problem with Wake was that he was understandable. He was the type of villain that literally
scared the absolute shit out of you because you knew that under the right circumstances, you
could end up exactly like him.
Which, sadly, was the case for me.
I’d done the exact same thing as Wake, and now I was a murderer just like him.
Did I know that I did wrong? Hell yes.
Did I regret that? Hell no.
Did I plan on changing a thing? Also, no.
Was I falling in love with a man that should scare the shit out of me? A resounding hell yes.

I was expecting quite the dark story, but LLV infused just the right magic! The book is set in Accident, FL where this new series is playing out. Wake and his “friends” are the anti-hero type. There’s some mystery regarding all of them getting out early, so we will hopefully get more clues on that in each book. Wake is just getting out of prison for murder. Dutch moves there because she needs information of a special kind. I love how Wake just claims Dutch. I love their relationship and how it unfolds uniquely. Nobody Cares has some super spicy scenes and just the right amount of suspense and action to keep you turning the pages. Loved this fun read! 4 stars!
