We finally get Bram and Dory’s story! This one is a redemption story big-time! It broke my heart in a few places. I mean, LLV really knows how to make me cry. And she doesn’t beat around the bush when it comes to violence. This book was angsty, sad, wonderful, steamy, and just everything all-in-one. The Crow brothers, and sister, have not had an easy time of it. Bram is a #1 jerk. He did not care for Dory properly, so he has a lot to make up for. I just loved Dory, even though she was so broken. Watch Bram’s love help put her back together. This is another LLV book I did not put down. Read it in one sitting! Never Trust the Living completes the Battle Crows series. A worthy addition! 4 stars
