Gabe is a quiet and intense helicopter pilot with a lot on his shoulders. He’s hiding his younger brother and sister. Effie is a people person and a thrill seeker who is into extreme sports for a living. They are polar opposites in a lot of ways, but they have serious chemistry. Effie appears to have a stalker or something more dangerous. Gabe wants to get to the bottom of it, but Effie is determined to keep herself apart and deal with things on her own. And Gabe is worried about his family’s safety. Their friends-with-benefits relationship may become more than either bargained for with Effie in danger. This story was steamy and packed with adventure. I love Jolie’s Scots and you’ll love this one as much as I do! 4 stars
