He’s a single dad trying to make it in the Major Leagues and she’s a substitute teacher looking for her next adventure.

Sophie Callahan comes from an affluent family but this free spirit is nothing like the stereotypical trust fund baby. While she waits on the perfect job to open up, she’s making it work as a substitute teacher.

Nancy’s Review
Right from the beginning, Owen, a single dad, just wants to care for his children. He’s a professional baseball player and is on the road a lot. Enter Sophie. She starts out as a substitute teacher for his daughter and ends up as his nanny. Owen is hot and a bit stern. Sophie is a ray of sunshine. They have a major attraction and sparks fly, but will there be an HEA? You’ll have to read this slow-burn romance and find out. I’ve enjoyed every book I’ve read by Jiffy Kate and this sports romance is not different! 4 stars
