Wow! This book was freaking-fantastic! I went into this story with zero expectations. Let me tell you, I fell in love with Olix and the people of his village. Reptile guy and smart human, Susan, make a wonderful couple. (A steamy one, too!) This story had a small-town romance feel with a science fiction setting. It was relatively low-anxiety and shouted the truth that there is value in all cultures. I love how this little human worked with the Andturian people to help them rise above their difficulties. If you are a sci-fi fan and a Regine Abel fan, I have no doubt you’ll love this story. It’s a little different, but completely worthy. Loved it and hope for a few more stories in this world! 5 stars!!
