This was one of the best friends to lovers stories I’ve read recently! And Luc, he was just so sweet with unrequited love. Lexi is so smart and kind, but fell for Caleb’s manipulation. The best thing that ever happened to her was Lexi getting her freedom. This book gave me all the feels. Luc is so patient with Lexi. I kind of gleaned that she loved plants so much because they couldn’t hurt her and they brought her happiness. The scene with the team and the planting project made me laugh out loud. Great characters and steamy scenes really has me looking forward to more in this series! Luc will charm you just like he did for Lexi. 4 stars!
