This was such a good book! I was drawn right into the storyline. I had students with cerebral palsy and it was great to see in a romance main character. I think I loved Nita a little bit more for that! Nita has cerebral palsy. She’s left on her own when her mom dies unexpectedly. Enter Ansel, a local EMT. He is just drawn to her. She’s beautiful and kind. I love their relationship and how it builds. I think I cried when he got her a special present and again at the end. This becomes kind of a dark romance about halfway through. Nita is in the sights of some unscrupulous people. Her only hope is Ansel. Shelter for Nita was just a great read! 4 stars!
