(She crashed into his barn.) Lexa shows up for her nanny job late and her employer is none other than the town sheriff who’s more crooked than a barrel of fish hooks! Seriously, Lexa meets nothing but bad luck in the town of Ravenwood. Her silver lining is Asher who insists she call him, “Daddy.” Hey, if that’s your thing then roll with it. This story was sweet, a little scary, and a whole bunch of steamy. You’ll love this hot as hell cowboy and his little sweetie. 4 stars
