Fight from the Heart is the fourth book in this series about friends and family from a small town. I’m definitely loving that aspect of it. Pam manages a nursery (for plants) and works for famous novelist Jacob Vincent. Pam is feisty and, because she’s been hurt in the past, has a big wall around her heart. Jacob is nerdy, gorgeous, and your typical moody artist. These two have secretly been in love with each other since they met two years ago. Jacob is surly and dark. And what I love about this is Pam just accepts that that’s him. But Jacob has to overcome some personal hurdles before this relationship can work. This story is meloncholy and steamy. I love these two together and Dunbar definitely brings the heat in this book! Can Jacob open his heart to love? Read and find out! 4 stars
