An unstoppable alien warrior. A stubborn human female. A desperate escape.
Varga’s life has been as hard as the armor which covers his skin, but he has never let it stop him. He has powered his way through every obstacle – until a favor for a friend sends him straight into the path of a stubborn, beautiful female, and everything changes.
After finally freeing herself from her domineering ex-husband, Joan is ready to start a new life on her own terms. Instead, she is kidnapped by aliens and sold into servitude on a mining planet at the far end of the galaxy.
When a terrifyingly attractive alien appears with promises to rescue her, she isn’t foolish enough to refuse. But the massive, scarred warrior wants more than her freedom – he wants her heart.
As Varga and Joan lead a ragtag group on a dangerous journey to freedom, can they also escape the ties of the past and find a new future – together?

I really loved this one! Joan is a stand alone, but could really be put in a box set with Hanna & the Hitman and Izzie and the Icebeast. But anyway, this was a sweet story. Vargas is on a mission to save the human females that were sold into slavery. Joan is a cook (slave) to Ukhaan and you will really dislike this alien male. Vargas is a formidable guy and a bit bossy, but he’s SO sweet to Joan. I loved that! Along the way, we meet a team of characters from the mine. There was a lot going on with all of the different characters in the mine bunch. And that kept things stirred up and very interesting. Joan has an alien iguana-lizard kind of pet thing named George. I LOVED George! George does some cool stuff, so you will have to read it to find out what! Joan & the Juggernaut is very steamy. In fact I was having some wine during chapters 1-12 or so and nicknamed Chapter 6 “Bow Chicka Wow Wow.”
Joan and the Juggernaut was fabulous! It had the perfect mix of action, awesome characters, and steamy bits. I beta read this one and I highly recommend it! 4.5 Stars!

Honey wrote and illustrated her first book at the tender age of 5. Her writing has improved since then. Her drawing skills, unfortunately, have not. She loves writing, reading, traveling, cooking, and drinking champagne – not necessarily in that order.
Her steamy science fiction stories focus on hot alien warriors and the Earth women they can’t resist. From abductions to invasions, the ride might be rough, but the end always satisfies.
