Kitty Valentine is your typical romance author. She’s home, A LOT. She can be clumsy. She has an annoying,but honest best friend. And her neighbor, Matt, drives her nuts. She also needs some new book material. Thus, a dating profile and a few ridiculous dates have her about to give up. An unplanned ER visit brings Jake into her life. He’s gorgeous, genuine, and sweet. I actually love them together. But their romantic plans constantly get foiled. Can Kitty & Jake catch a break?
I really liked all of the characters in this book. And the author had me turning the pages to find out what happened next. I understand this is a series and this book was the first I’ve read by this author. An entertaining read. 3.5 stars
