Dillan and Booth. Gah! What a complex story! Dillan has secretly pined for Booth, but Booth got her identical twin pregnant before going off with the military. Things have been complicated since then. But Booth is back. He shares custody of Asa with Delaney and everyone gets along. Because of a particularly harrowing event with the SWAT team, Booth’s life flashes before his eyes. He decides he’s done waiting and pursues Dillan. They’re a very steamy couple! And I love Dillan’s little donut shop. (You really had me craving donuts!) Dillan’s father is a bad character. Dillan’s friend Kerry is out to win Dillan and he will stop at nothing to get her. Will Booth & sweet Dillan get to live happily ever after? Def grab up this book!

Joke’s on You kept things moving from the beginning. Lots of twists and turns, but in the end this story had me so “in love” with this series! Can’t wait for the next one, too! 4 stars
