These story brings the steam in the first few chapters! If you’re a fan of this series then you know about Charlie. I always thought he was the controlled one. But Charlie will find that he has no control where Janessa is concerned. Janessa, recently divorced from a cheating, famous baseball player, is staying with her parents and trying to start over. Her parents have worked for Charlie for years. And then she gets a job with the city. Lines are crossed in so many places. Charlie needs to decide what’s most important and Janessa needs to figure out her life. That won’t prevent the two from meeting in places they shouldn’t.
