It took me a few chapters to get into this book, but then I couldn’t put it down. Jedd is everything in a man. He’s strong, patient, thoughtful, and kind. Beverly is a hot mess when she meets Jedd. She’s barely functioning due to injuries from an old accident and she lets her daughter do everything for her. Jedd thinks she is beautiful and he wants more for her. In this book we see Bee’s metamorphisis into a living, breathing, and loving human. To say their relationship is touching doesn’t begin to describe it. Jedd saves Bee in more ways than one. Even though Jedd only has one arm, he sweeps his Bee off her feet. I enjoyed touching base with other Green Valley characters. This story was a beautifully written love story and fits perfectly in the Green Valley “universe.” Two imperfect people can find true love. I ALWAYS enjoy reading L.B.’s books and I loved this one! 4.5 stars
