Let me regale you with the super-awesomeness that is BANE! Bane is a tool of the Kryptid General Khutu. He’s a hybrid born of a stolen Vanguard mother and Kryptid father. He and his brothers are the secret allies of the Xian Warriors. Tabitha is the queen who haunts Bane’s dreams. When Tabitha, an analyst and shell for the Vanguard, discovers a trail of breadcrumbs that could possibly give them an advantage in the war against Khutu, she embarks on a dangerous mission with a full complement of her sisters and Xian Warriors. Its a trap and the Hybrids join the forces the Xian Warriors to save the victims that Bane is protecting. Tabitha is drawn to Bane. But will she be able to keep him? Bane is the leader of his people. Tabitha would like nothing more than Bane joining her on Khepri. Much is at risk. Will the Xian race welcome Bane and the other Hybrids designed to be their enemies into their ranks permanently? As you guessed I LOVED this book! Bane is one, hot warrior! (:::fans self:::) And I love all of the battle scenes and strategy that come to play in this story, as well as the steamy stuff. This book is not really a stand-alone. I recommend you read Legion and Raven first! 5 stars for this fantastic addition to the Xian Warriors series!
