To say I loved this story is an understatement!! It’s a fresh take on the “abducted by aliens story.” The bad guys kidnap an entire home of young mothers and their guardian! Abby’s daughter is adopted and when she committed to that her man left. She doesn’t have a favorable view of men. She is the caretaker of a home of young mothers, some are still pregnant. Captain Hrebec is from Ciresia. He left his dying race to help police the galaxy. When he happens upon a Vedeckian trade vessel what he uncovers is quite a discovery. Abby has taken on the care of a 2nd daughter, a female Cire baby. (Who are so rare they’re extremely precious.) Will Abby and Hrebec discover a way to help his race recover and find a relationship, or will Abby return to earth with her girls?
I read Mama and the Alien Warrior in one sitting. Why?? Because I couldn’t put it down! I loved the interaction with all of the girls and the other Cires on the ship. Abby and Hrebec are one, hot couple and they definitely steam things up. I’m a huge fan of Honey Phillips and Bex McLynn and I really look forward to more books in this series! 5 stars!
